Mora posted their closest win since November 5, 2024 on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Escalante Lobos 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Rangers/Rangerettes in their matchups with the Lobos: they've now won three in a row.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Mora got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 21-25, 25-14, 21-25, 15-11.

Mora's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Escalante, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mora is set to challenge their familiar foe Mesa Vista at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Escalante will take on rival McCurdy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
