The Seagoville Dragons are taking a road trip to take on the Terrell Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Seagoville is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Adamson 56-21. The Dragons pushed the score to 42-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Leopards had little chance of recovering from.

Kelveion Gates continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 218 yards and two scores on only 15 carries. He has become a key player for Seagoville: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 3-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Ancel Bynaum, who threw for 155 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 80% of his passes.
Meanwhile, Terrell put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their game with ease, bagging a 79-34 victory over Poteet. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Pirates are ranked 608th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
Terrell's win came from a few key players Seagoville will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was RODERICK HAMBRICK JR., who rushed for 149 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in October of 2024. JORDAN MUAMBILA was another major influence, as he rushed for 77 yards and ran in a TD.
Terrell was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 536 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 248 rushing yards in six consecutive matchups.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Terrell's defensive line and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: ASA KOMISSAROV, ZAMONTAY SMITH, and KEENAN MORROW, who each picked up one sack apiece. Terrell got some further help from KOMISSAROV: he picked up a sack and made nine total tackles (2.0 for loss).
The win got Seagoville back to even at 5-5. As for Terrell, their record is now 10-0.
Thursday's contest might be decided on the ground. Seagoville has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 210.1 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Terrell struggles in that department as they've been averaging 335.8 rushing yards. There's a good chance Thursday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
