Softball Recap: Huntland Takes a Loss

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Huntland was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They came up short against the Tullahoma Wildcats, falling 18-1. The Hornets were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in April of 2018.

Huntland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Tullahoma, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-5.

Coming up, Huntland will head out to challenge Fayetteville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tullahoma, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Franklin County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tullahoma is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.
