Basketball Recap: Telesis Prep's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

If Telesis Prep was riding high fresh off their 51-5 takedown of Verde Valley last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Telesis Prep Tigers took a 34-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Valley Christian Warriors. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-19 back in December of 2024.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Karma Daigle, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Sam Krasnopolskiy, who put up nine points.

Telesis Prep's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7. As for West Valley Christian, they moved to 6-8 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Telesis Prep won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Varsity Opponent at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Valley Christian, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Mission Heights Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
