Baseball Recap: Hidden Valley Titans vs. Pulaski County Cougars        
        
		
            
 There's no place like home for Hidden Valley, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road  last Friday. They walked away with  a   9-5  victory over the Pulaski County Cougars  on Tuesday. Hidden Valley's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
  Brendon Ross was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He  tossed four innings while giving up just two earned  (and three unearned) runs off   five  hits. Ross was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
 In other pitching news,  Caleb Hagadorn looked comfortable as he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also only allowed one  walk).
 Ross wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Braxton Nichols, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Wyatt Clarke, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 Hidden Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Pulaski County, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-4.
 Hidden Valley will be playing at home against Salem at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Pulaski County, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Galax at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
