Gleason dropped down to 6-16 on Wednesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 15-0 to the Greenfield Yellowjackets. Considering the last time the Bulldogs couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

As for Greenfield, they pushed their record up to 19-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Considering they have won 12 matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

For Greenfield's part, Easton Sullivan was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Sullivan has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single hit in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Baker Biggs, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Anderson Hayes, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

As of now, neither Gleason nor Greenfield have any future games scheduled.
