Soccer Recap: Stagg Comes Up Short

Stagg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Lincoln-Way Central Knights, falling 6-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Stagg haven't been shut out since back in March.

Stagg's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Lincoln-Way Central, their win bumped their record up to 13-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stagg will host Andrew at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lincoln-Way Central, they will look to defend their home pitch on May 6 against Peoria Notre Dame at 6:30 p.m.
