Baseball Recap: Cairo-Durham's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Cairo-Durham had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They never let the Greenville Spartans get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Friday. That seven run margin sets a new team best for the Mustangs this season.

Jacob Young was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 16 over seven innings pitched. Those 16 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
