Basketball Recap: PACT Charter Takes a Loss

After soaring to 62 points the game before, PACT Charter was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 74-29 loss at the hands of the Maple River Eagles. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

PACT Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Maple River, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. PACT Charter will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on West Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Maple River, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting New Ulm at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. New Ulm knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Maple River likes a good challenge.
