The biggest upset of the week belonged to Marbury, who took down 261st ranked Marbury, 33-28.

Russell extended the longest winning streak in 5A Region 2 this week by beating Carroll, 39-0. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Wildcats.

JOSHUA MEIGS put up the best numbers through the air as Valley defeated Russell County. He finished with 15 completions for 177 yards and three touchdowns. MEIGS's favorite target this week was FRANKIE HUTCHINSON, who caught four passes for 81 yards.

Siran Neal was the best wideout in the league this week as Eufaula beat Rehobeth. Neal racked up five receptions for 90 yards. Jaylin Robinson helped Eufaula's passing attack out by catching one ball for seven yards.

Thomas Ford was the most productive running back in the league this week. In nine carries, he ran for 154 yards as the Tigers beat the Rebels. Xavier Woodson also contributed to the rushing game with 56 yards on the ground.

The Rams' MEIGS and HOUSTON BARNES have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading 5A Region 2 in both passing and receiving yards. MEIGS has thrown for 1102 yards this season, while BARNES, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 23 catches for 347 yards. Ford from Eufaula leads the league in rushing with 608 yards.

The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Russell takes on second place Eufaula. Russell defeated the Eagles last week, while Daniel Klages' team topped Rehobeth.
