The Tinley Park Titans will square off against the Richards Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tinley Park is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.

Tinley Park is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Oak Forest just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bengals, falling 9-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Titans have suffered since April 3rd.

Megan Piotrowski was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one double.

Meanwhile, Richards waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They never let the Red Wolves get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Richards pushed their record up to 12-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Tinley Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-9.

Tinley Park skirted past Richards 1-0 in their previous meeting back in May of 2023. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
