Basketball Game Preview: Yorkville Foxes vs. Minooka Indians

The Yorkville Foxes will take on the Minooka Indians at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Yorkville's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Minooka has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Last Saturday, Yorkville strolled past St. Charles North with points to spare, taking the game 69-54.

Meanwhile, Minooka fought the good fight in their overtime game against Andrew on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 42-41 to the Thunderbolts. While the Indians didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Thunderbolts 13-3 in the first quarter.

Yorkville's victory bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Minooka, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-11.

Things could have been worse for Yorkville, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 53-39 loss to Minooka when the teams last played back in December of 2024.
