Softball Recap: Lake Marion Comes Up Short

Lake Marion lost against Bridges Prep on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Gators lost 17-2 to the Buccaneers. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake Marion's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Bridges Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

Lake Marion will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Branchville at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Bridges Prep, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-2 loss against Lowcountry Leadership on the 2nd.
