Soccer Recap: New Palestine Comes Up Short

New Palestine lost against Mt. Vernon back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dragons fell just short of the Marauders by a score of 3-2. New Palestine dropped their record down to 3-3 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Mt. Vernon, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Looking ahead, New Palestine will head out to face off against New Castle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mt. Vernon, they will square off against Yorktown at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Mt. Vernon will be up against Yorktown's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.4 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
