Basketball Game Preview: Augusta Southeastern Suns vs. Mendon Unity Mustangs

The Augusta Southeastern Suns will face off against the Mendon Unity Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Augusta Southeastern has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 19.

Last Saturday, Augusta Southeastern lost to Biggsville West Central on the road by a 49-32 margin.

Meanwhile, Mendon Unity strolled past Beardstown with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 63-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

The victory got Mendon Unity back to even at 8-8. As for Augusta Southeastern, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.

Augusta Southeastern came up short against Mendon Unity in their previous meeting back in January, falling 52-45. Can the Suns avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
