Keystone piles up the points against Clearview

Recap: Keystone Wildcats vs. Clearview Clippers

The Keystone Wildcats put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 58-17 victory over Clearview at home. The result was nothing new for Keystone, who have now won six games by 27 points or more so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Keystone to victory, but perhaps none more so than Vivian Cassell, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Cassell has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jessica Forthofer, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.

Keystone's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0. As for Clearview, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Keystone's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Cuyahoga Heights at 5:30 p.m. on December 28th. Clearview will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Oberlin at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024. Oberlin is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
