Football Recap: Allen County-Scottsville Comes Up Short

Allen County-Scottsville had taken Monroe County down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Patriots fell 24-14 to the Falcons. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Allen County-Scottsville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Monroe County, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Allen County-Scottsville is headed away from home for the first time to take on Warren Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Monroe County, they will square off against Glasgow at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
