The St. Bonaventure Seraphs will venture away from home to challenge the Dos Pueblos Chargers at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Bonaventure will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
St. Bonaventure was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Foothill Tech on Thursday. The Seraphs were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Dragons. The Seraphs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

Hallie Barlow was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Laura Lynch also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
St. Bonaventure always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Foothill Tech only posted an OBP of .385.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Dos Pueblos, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Ventura on Friday, sneaking past 3-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Chargers as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
Kaitlyn Ashby spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on eight hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Dos Pueblos let Anastasia Brunner and Zella Cassidy run wild. Brunner went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run, while Cassidy went 3-for-4 with one triple and one run. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Hedricks, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
St. Bonaventure moved to 13-10 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Dos Pueblos, their record is now 11-14.
Wednesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. St. Bonaventure hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .362. However, it's not like Dos Pueblos struggles in that department as they've averaged .313. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
St. Bonaventure suffered a grim 13-7 defeat to Dos Pueblos in their previous meeting back in February. Can the Seraphs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
