Basketball Recap: Providence Classical Christian Comes Up Short

Providence Classical Christian played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Tulalip Heritage Hawks, falling 79-57. While losing is never fun, the Highlanders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 281st, while the Hawks are ranked 72nd).

Providence Classical Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Tulalip Heritage, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.

Providence Classical Christian will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Shoreline Christian at 4:00 p.m. As for Tulalip Heritage, they will venture away from home to challenge Lummi at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Tulalip Heritage knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 contests -- so hopefully Lummi likes a good challenge.
