Basketball Recap: Edgewood Comes Up Short

If Edgewood was riding high fresh off their 69-20 takedown of Pomona last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Edgewood Lions took a 58-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the La Puente Warriors on Thursday. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Edgewood's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for La Puente, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edgewood has already played their next match (against Ganesha), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. La Puente will host Bassett at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
