Fairfield Christian Academy is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest defeat since May 22, 2024 on Saturday. They came up short against New Albany, falling 8-2. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Millersport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 16-1 to Grove City Christian.

Millersport saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Eiginger, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Fairfield Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Millersport, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
