Basketball Recap: New London Comes Up Short

New London was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost to the Plymouth Big Red on the road by a 50-36 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 73-53 back in December of 2024.

New London's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Plymouth, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New London will take on Monroeville at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Plymouth, they will square off against Crestview at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
