East Hartford lost to Farmington back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Hornets were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the River Hawks. Considering the Hornets have won three contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

With the victory, East Hartford broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-5. As for Farmington, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, East Hartford will be playing in front of their home fans against Conard at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Farmington, they will venture away from home to square off against Tolland at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the River Hawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
