Poetry Community Christian fell victim to Westlake Academy and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Blacksmiths and fell 52-0.

Poetry Community Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Westlake Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Poetry Community Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Faustina Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. The Falcons' defense has only allowed 14.2 points per game this season, so the Pioneer's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Westlake Academy, they have already played their next game, a 72-22 victory against Tyler HEAT on the 3rd.
