Baseball Recap: Coleman Falls Short of Stamford in the Playoffs

Coleman and Stamford squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Coleman had to settle for second. They lost 10-0 to the Bulldogs. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Bluecats, who until this matchup were averaging 4.1 runs allowed.

Coleman has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-13 record this season. As for Stamford, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Coleman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stamford, they will square off against Miles on Thursday.
