Volleyball Recap: Battle Comes Up Short

Battle lost against Rock Bridge last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Spartans fell 3-1 to the Bruins. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Battle started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-21.

Battle's loss dropped their record down to 3-12-1. As for Rock Bridge, they moved to 9-15 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Battle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rock Bridge, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Lee's Summit North on the 12th.
