Rolling Meadows's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Addison Trail Blazers by a score of 13-8. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Mustangs considering their two-run performance the game before.

Caylee Del Boccio was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and two doubles. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had over her last 11 contests. Devyn Berbaum also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Rolling Meadows' win bumped their record up to 11-15. As for Addison Trail, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Rolling Meadows will challenge Schaumburg at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Saxons' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Addison Trail, they will face off against Berwyn/Cicero Morton at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.78 runs per game on average), something the Blazers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
