Basketball Recap: Monticello Takes a Loss

Monticello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 50-32 to the Pecatonica Vikings, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Monticello's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Pecatonica, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-10.

As of now, neither Monticello nor Pecatonica have any future games scheduled.
