Basketball Game Preview: North Harford Hawks vs. Havre de Grace Warriors

North Harford and Havre de Grace are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2017, but not for long. The North Harford Hawks will be playing at home against the Havre de Grace Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

North Harford played in conference for the first time on Friday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They strolled past Bel Air with points to spare, taking the game 42-25.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Havre de Grace, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They put the hurt on Bel Air with a sharp 42-19 win last Friday. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 20 points or more this season.

North Harford now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Havre de Grace, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 6-5-2.

North Harford came up short against Havre de Grace when the teams last played back in January of 2023, falling 39-35. Thankfully for North Harford, Azareya Whiting (who went 5 for 8 on her way to 14 points along with eight boards and five steals) won't be suiting up this time.
