Football Recap: Kensington Victorious

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kensington). They enjoyed a cozy 28-14 victory over Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech on Saturday. The KENSINGTON TIGER pushed the score to 22-0 by the end of the third, a deficit Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech cut but never quite recovered from.

Several Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ali Briscoe-Brunson, who rushed for 90 yards on only nine carries, and also picked up 45 receiving yards.

Kensington's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Kensington and Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech will both be playing Audenried the next time they take the field. Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech will host the Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the KENSINGTON TIGER will host them at 3:00 p.m. on the 25th.
