Basketball Game Preview: Tinora Rams vs. Liberty Center Tigers

The Tinora Rams will be taking part in a tournament against the Liberty Center Tigers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Liberty Center took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Tinora, who comes in off a win.

Last Thursday, Tinora didn't have too much trouble with Hicksville as they won 60-41. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 274th, while the Aces are ranked 611th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Liberty Center came up short against Evergreen on Thursday and fell 50-38. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tinora is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points over those games. As for Liberty Center, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.

Tinora didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Liberty Center when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 45-40 win.
