Volleyball Game Preview: Verrado Vipers vs. Washington Rams

The Verrado Vipers will challenge the Washington Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, Verrado didn't have quite enough to beat Sunrise Mountain and fell 3-2.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Verrado sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-17, 21-25, 25-21, 22-25, 18-16.

Meanwhile, Washington came up short against Independence on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-16, 25-15.

Verrado's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-6. As for Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Verrado took their win against Washington in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Vipers repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
