The Aberdeen Bobcats's game on Wednesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 49-37 win over Rochester. That looming 49-37 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Aberdeen yet this season.
Aberdeen got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryker Scott out in front who scored 11 points. Those 11 points set a new season-high mark for him. Xanto Raya was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds.
Aberdeen's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5. As for Rochester, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aberdeen will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Elma at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. As for Rochester, they will face off against Northwest Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
