Volleyball Recap: Clarkston Wolves vs. Lake Orion Dragons
Clarkston had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Lake Orion Dragons 3-0 on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for the Wolves as they're now sitting on seven straight.
The win didn't come easy: Lake Orion scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23, 26-24.
Despite the loss, Lake Orion saw an underclassman step up: freshman Mckenzie Reid had nine digs.
Clarkston has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 29-6 record this season. As for Lake Orion, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-16-2.
