Football Recap: Noxapater Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to 36 points the game before, Noxapater was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They fell just short of the Eupora Eagles by a score of 14-12. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Although Noxapater took the loss, they still got scores from Davion Holmes and JyKavius Riddle.

Peyton Perkins produced another solid performance rushing for 101 yards and one score, while also throwing for 108 yards and one touchdown for Eupora. Perkins got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 57 yards.

Noxapater's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Eupora, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Noxapater will face off against Sebastopol at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Tigers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Eupora, they will challenge Velma Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Falcons have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
