Baseball Recap: Nevis Takes a Loss

Nevis fell victim to Lake of the Woods and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 10-0 to the Bears. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Nevis now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lake of the Woods, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Nevis will head out on the road to challenge Blackduck at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Tigers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Lake of the Woods, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Laporte at 4:30 p.m.
