Volleyball Recap: Stagg's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Stagg barely beat Central Valley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Stagg Delta Kings blew past the Central Valley Hawks 3-0 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Delta Kings as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-21, 25-17.

Stagg's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Angelo Lagrimas, who had four digs and two blocks. That's the most digs Lagrimas has posted since back in April of 2024. Evan Sun was another key player, getting six kills, three digs, and two aces.

Stagg's victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Stagg has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Franklin on the 5th. Central Valley has also already played their next game (against Los Banos), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
