             The Hatch Valley Bears will take on the Dexter Demons at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Hatch Valley will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  points each  contest than the last.
 Last Friday, Hatch Valley didn't have too much breathing room in their  game against Ruidoso, but they still walked away with a  32-27 victory.
 Hatch Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Orrin Russell led the charge by rushing for 181 yards and three touchdowns. Those 181  rushing yards gave  Russell a new career-high.  David Dumas was another key rusher, rushing for 160 yards while picking up 8.9 yards per carry.
 He was just one part of a punishing run game: Hatch Valley was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 389  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile, Dexter put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Hot Springs 38-2 on the road. The result was nothing new for the Demons, who have now won seven matches by 22  points or more  so far this season.
  Omar Loya continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 168 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, while also catching a touchdown. His longest rush was for an impressive 63 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
 Another reason for the win was Dexter's imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for 11 sacks. In that department,  Rigo Regalado was the leader with three. He also set a new season high mark in  total tackles with nine.
 Hatch Valley's record now sits at 5-3. As for Dexter, their win was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 9-0.
