Covina came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They secured a 53-47 W over the South Hills Huskies. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Colts also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Covina's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-11. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for South Hills, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
