Nevada is 6-0 against Perry since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 7:30 p.m. Nevada will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Last Friday, everything went Nevada's way against Prairie City-Monroe as Nevada made off with a 64-42 win. The Cubs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Perry scored the most points they've had this season two weeks ago, but it wasn't enough. They took an 83-78 hit to the loss column at the hands of Boone. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (63), the Bluejays still had to take the loss.

Nevada will need focus on slowing down Geren Kenney, one of several Perry players who made an impact when they last played. He almost dropped a triple-double on 24 points, 12 boards, and nine assists. Kenney is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted eight or more in the last three games he's played. Gustavo Drahos was another key player, going 10 of 21 on his way to 26 points.

Nevada pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for Perry, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.

Nevada took their win against Perry when the teams last played back in February by a conclusive 72-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for Nevada since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
