Hunter has gone 9-1 against West Jordan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Hunter Wolverines will face off against the West Jordan Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
Last Friday, Hunter strolled past Granger with points to spare, taking the game 47-31.

Hunter found their leader in sophomore Grace Gallagher, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards. Gallagher is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last 29 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Mamakoula Tuitupou-Kutu, who posted six points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Jordan). They were the clear victor by a 67-41 margin over Kearns on Friday. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Jaguars had established a 22 point advantage.
Hunter better keep an eye on Marlee Reupena. She was instrumental in West Jordan's win, going 13 of 24 en route to 30 points in addition to eight steals and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Giselle Muffett, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds.
West Jordan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in nine consecutive games.
West Jordan is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for Hunter, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-10.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Hunter has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 33.8 boards per game. However, it's not like West Jordan struggles in that department as they've been averaging 32.6 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Hunter lost to West Jordan on the road by a decisive 62-48 margin when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Hunter avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
