MaxPreps Final 2015 Regional High School Football Computer Rankings: South Region

DeMatha finishes season at No. 1; IMG Academy comes in at No. 2.

DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.), with seven wins over teams ranked in the top 200 in the MaxPreps Computer Rankings, finishes the season ranked No. 1 in the MaxPreps South Region Football Computer Rankings for 2015.

Besides a win over Central (Miami), ranked No. 4 in the South Region, DeMatha also defeated St. John (Washington, D.C.) and Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, Md.) in conference play.

IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.), which played an independent schedule that included wins over some of the top teams from Florida, New Jersey, Louisiana and Texas, finished at No. 2 while Colquitt County, the two-time Class AAAAAA in Georgia, finished No. 3.



The regional rankings are based on the MaxPreps Computer Rankings, presented by the Army National Guard. The South region includes teams from Florida, Tennessee, Maryland, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Washington D.C., Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.
