Recap: Air Academy Kadets vs. Lutheran Lions        
        
		
            
 The Air Academy Kadets struggled with  assists on Wednesday (the Lutheran Lions had eight more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Air Academy had to suffer through a rough  76-37 loss at the hands of Lutheran. While losing is never fun, Air Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings  (they are ranked 138th, while Lutheran is ranked 12th).
 Loss or not, Air Academy got some senior leadership from  Max Howery and  Noah Hellem.  Howery  scored ten points along with four  steals, while  Hellem.  scored 17 points. Hellem has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last ten times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brody Winnett, who  scored five points along with two  steals.
  Braydon Jacob continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lutheran,  almost  dropping  a double-double on 26 points and nine  rebounds. Jacob hasn't dropped below 15 points for five straight games. Another player making a difference was  Isaiah Williams, who  scored ten points along with five  assists and five  steals.
 Air Academy has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost five of their last six matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record  this season. As for Lutheran,  the  victory  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 20-3.
 Air Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lutheran also has no future games currently scheduled.
