Seton Catholic Central waltzed into their game on Friday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. They skirted past the Corning-Painted Post Hawks 66-63. This was payback for the Saints, who suffered a 74-63 loss the last time these two teams met.

Seton Catholic Central's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Allan Eagles, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds. That's the most boards Eagles has posted since back in December of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Kozel, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 13 points and seven rebounds.

Seton Catholic Central's victory bumped their record up to 19-1. As for Corning-Painted Post, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 19-1.
