Volleyball Recap: Dixon Extends Winning Streak to Four

Dixon came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Eastland Cougars by a score of 2-0. The Dukes & Duchesses were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Cougars, so the Dukes & Duchesses were just returning the favor.

Presley Lappin went supernova, getting 15 digs and two aces. Those 15 digs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Morgan Hargrave, who had eight digs and six kills.

When it comes to explaining why Eastland lost, don't look at Morgan McCullough. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs.

Dixon's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Eastland, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.
