The Oxford Wolverines will challenge the Watertown Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Watertown took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Oxford, who comes in off a win.

Oxford took a loss when they played away from home last Sunday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Crosby a 14-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Wolverines were the (much) better team in the second half.

James Marcella had a dynamite game, picking up 143 receiving yards and a pair of scores. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 99 yards.

Oxford pushed their record up to 3-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 0.0 points on average over those games. As for Watertown, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
