Volleyball Recap: Union Academy Beats Olympic for Their Third Straight Victory

Union Academy had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Olympic Trojans with a sharp 3-0 win.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-9, 25-16.

Josh Flores paced Union Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Flores got some help from Carter Zorn and his 17 assists. Zorn also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Jace Terrill, racking up two apiece.

Union Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Olympic, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Union Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Parkwood on the 27th. As for Olympic, they will venture away from home to take on Ballantyne Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
