Soccer Recap: Bloomfield Takes a Loss

Bloomfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Simsbury Trojans, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, Bloomfield can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 120th, while Simsbury are ranked first).

Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-8-1. As for Simsbury, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2.

Coming up, Bloomfield will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Academy of International Studies at 3:30 p.m. Simsbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
