Basketball Game Preview: University School of Milwaukee Wildcats vs. St. Francis Mariners + How To Watch

The University School of Milwaukee Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the St. Francis Mariners at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. University School of Milwaukee will be strutting in after a win while St. Francis will be coming in after a loss.

University School of Milwaukee hadn't beaten Heritage Christian on the road since January 24, 2023 but that history sure didn't bother them on Monday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 47-27 margin over the Patriots.

University School of Milwaukee's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Emma Holbrook, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards, and Maggie Hartjes, who posted five points in addition to 11 assists and six steals. Aneesha Jayasuriya was another key player, putting up eight points.

Meanwhile, St. Francis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Augustine Prep, falling 48-25.

University School of Milwaukee now has a winning record of 2-1. As for St. Francis, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

University School of Milwaukee ended up a good deal behind St. Francis when the teams last played back in January, losing 52-33. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
