It was a good run, but Providence Catholic unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 51-23 loss at the hands of the Loyola Academy Ramblers. The contest marked the Celtics' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Providence Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Loyola Academy, they pushed their record up to 28-2 with the victory, which was their 22nd straight on the road dating back to last season.

Providence Catholic will face off against Joliet Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Loyola Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
